The YOSC Thrift Shop offers a wonderful opportunity to purchase gently used merchandise such as clothing, toys, household items and gifts. Proceeds benefit the Yokota community. 100% of the proceeds from the Thrift Shop support the YOSC and YESC Scholarship programs. The YOSC Thrift Shop accepts gently used donations in our store during store hours, or outside of the shop in the donation bin.
Volunteers are ALWAYS needed!
Have you been looking for a way to get involved with the Yokota community? The Thrift Shop is always in need of volunteers to help staff the store, especially during the summer months.
Volunteers receive a $10 bag sale at the end of their volunteer hour(s). The volunteer can add any clothes from the store into their bag and only pay $10.
If you are able to give some of your time to help the shop, please contact the Thrift Shop as soon as possible.
If you are unable to give your time, please consider donating the following items: mens’, women’s and children’s clothing, kitchenware, kokeshi dolls, and toys. Operational supplies such as trash bags and grocery bags are also greatly appreciated!
Hours of Operation:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 0900 to 1300.
The Thrift Shop is located in the back corner of the Taiyo Community Center on the West Side of base. You can also access it from the outside – which is located near the outdoor pool. If you go through the west side gates, go over the train tracks and turn left at the stop sign. Follow that around, past the school, past the Taiyo and turn left again at the next stop. The shop has an entrance on the back corner of the building and will have a sign out front. We look forward to seeing you!!
